Are there any plans to implement a grass shader into octane? For me, and I'm sure for a lot of guys out there working on archviz, that would be an awesome feature.

ya, I'm not sure what you mean by "implement" into Octane. Anyone can make one right now and save it to the LiveDB. Stuff like this however, I feel the shader is dependent on the geometry of the grass itself, I would just make it myself, save the grass object and save the material then just load both up whenever I want grass.
(Haven't needed grass yet, so I haven't done this)

I mean generating grass right into octane. I use Modo, and it uses a nice fur shader to make grass, but I cannot export that into an obj, since its a propietary shader hardcoded into Modo, so that would be awesome making it into octane.

You know what i mean, not pasting a grass texture on a surface, but create real volumetric grass.

This seems more like a feature in a 3D modeling package and then allowing Octane to render it. I don't think Octane would be able to do what you want. However, in an integrated plugin, something like this would be possible (but depending on how the grass is created, it may not initially be able to render it), but once again, it would be a feature of the modeling package.
