Hello, I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong, but I created an obj.

I created the UV's in Maya, then I painted a texture in Zbrush. I flipped the image in V and saved it.

Now I can open the object in the Standalone version and apply the texture and works perfectly.

But when I apply the very same texture to the very same object in Maya I get a black object, no texture.

The texture is completely visible in the shaded view in the Maya panel.

Thanks in advance for any replies, suggestions!!!

Can you please post here the screenshot of attribute editor with "octaneImageTexture1" settings in Maya?

I can't see the full filepath of the structure in Maya settings, can you check that it does not contain the national symbols? Octane will not render such textures...

Are you talking about the image file path?
I will check it when I get home.

Thanks JimStar

PS: If that's the problem. Why is it possible to render in Octane Standalone ?
Thanks again !!!

It will be fixed in next version, the plugin will understand the non-latin paths too.;)
