Hi, i'm new to this forum .. i bought Octane Render today after a week playing with the demo and months of research!
so this is the first image that i publish .. i hope that you will like it and i hope that i did everything well.
The image took 2 hours, 3600 passages in PT. the fire is done in postproduction ( there was only an emitter ). 1920x920

Very good work
. I like the composition and use of colors. Though the sss on the guy's hand could be a little to much. Just need a little tweaking down.

Thank you,; yep i know the sss effect is way too heavy .. but i decided to leave the image this way because it is the very first image with the licensed versione ( and not the demo ) so it like a memory that i want to keep. of course in the next image i will pay more attention to details 

Looks really nice. But don't you think a bacground isn't a little bit too bright? I know it was intended, but it's just my point of view.

the background is a very distant emitter and to have a nice violet blue colors in the scene i had to set an high value of power to the emitter
