I seem to remember something about having trouble getting these two cards running at the same time, but can't find the solution to it.
I just put in a 680 GTX with my 580 GTX and it shows up in the Device manager fin with latest driver but when I launch octane 1.02 I get a blank black screen. File, edit, NOde and Help menu show up and it says it is activated but nothing else and no activity on the menus. If I resize the screen it does not refresh properly. I am running the display off the 580 for now.
Any ideas or topics that solved this would be great
Thanks

Does any body have a 680 running with 1.02... if so what drivers are you using. I had to take mine out and leave the 580s alone until I can figure this out.
Stumped
Any help appreciated

I'm using a 580 and a 690 together and don't have any problems. Driver is 306.97.

Gidday Marcus,
I got the 680GTX's up and running by taking everything out and Octane ran fine and rendered great.
As soon as I put another 580 in in any slot I can't even boot into the whole bloody OS
Any ideas...
Peter

More on this... I added a 690GTX and that did not cause any problems.
Octane running on all 3 cards no problem
As soon as I put in the 580 again...no boot... it is like as soon as a non K card goes in the slots... no os boot.
ANY ideas on that one.
If I manage to get boot up... and both sets of cards running... you mentioned the log... where do I find that.

See if there are any BIOS updates for your motherboard. Also check their website and see if there are any driver updates for your board too.

I have similar issue.
I am running well with gtx 580 and 590.
As soon as I add gtx 470 its not displayed anywhere in device manager.
If I run gtx 470 alone it works well.
I tried gtx 560ti to run with gtx 580 and 590 but it doesn't work. Device manager shows problem with 560Ti. However, when I use ONLY 560ti.. it works without any issue.
I have rampage III extreme board.

Sounds like it might be a power issue? Is your power supply able to handle the load of both cards?
