Yes. You still have option to switch to old model as well.

The bloom effect is already in octane ?
If yes, in the stand alone version ? in max plug in ?

the bloom and glare effects have been added to latest standalone release which you'll find Release candidate forum. Still waiting on the 3dsmax plugin.
