Hi TIG,
been away for a while from SU. I just tried both 1022m and 1022n and sadly I have to say none of them work on my Mac: not only they fail in launching Octane but both have more problems than the previous 1022l (which basically worked except opening Octane automatically).
for what I see:
- 1022m creates all the required files but there are redundant info in the octane path in "octane_new.command" (see attachment);
- 1022n only creates .OBJ and .MTL but no command files are generated;
note that I'm using a different test file with one only user made material to avoid the texture names language issue
switching back to 1022l for the moment...
regards,
A
P.S.: [OT] just downloaded your new slice3.rb... it's just brilliant, thank you!

OT I didn't know that Aidan Chopra was going to do that review for Google... Slicer3 is pretty old now - but v4 is in progress...
Back to beta'ing...
I assume that the m/n versions don't even work when you double-click the command file's icon ?
The latest changes were from suggestions by RS and another Mac guru, so what do I know ???
I'll look to see which best bits I can slavage from the evrsions - we are so near getting this to work seamlessly on a Mac it hurts
