Hi,

on windows you don't need to install the cuda toolkit, afaik it's not needed.

Wow. I installed it too before changing videocard, so didn't know it makes a difference. Did it got right back after removal?

It's more likely related to the nvidia drivers released today I had installed (258.69)

Back to 258.19 and now it's running fine.

I'm wondering if anyone else can confirm this speed difference with those latest drivers ?
BTW, we're currently evaluating the switch to cuda 3.1 for beta 2.3.

hmm I reinstalled 256.69 just to be sure and now the problem is gone, I don't know what caused it, perhaps just a reboot was needed.

we're starting our evaluation of the new cuda 3.1 toolkit and the newest drivers early next week.
if things are good we will make the switch with the upcoming beta 2.3 version.

we might have to make new builds that work ok with the newer drivers.
