I have finally received the gtx 470 and it appears to be much faster than the gtx 260.
I can not compare however side by side because after installing the new card I had to install the 197.75 driver.

However can I suggest to do some test here. Everyone could post it's own result so that at the end we know what is the difference between the different cards available today for the 1.22 version of Octane.
Of course everyone should use exactly the same driver (197.75) and the same benchmark test which is available to download in this forum and set the maxsample to 4000.

I think it will be a great help for those who want to upgrade and to know if it is useless.

Here is my test with the gtx 470 under win xp64: 00:14:16
