Does the current build have a way to store the camera position in case I accidentally move it (which isn't hard to do, actually). If it doesn't, are there plans to add a functionality like it? For an example of a successful implementation of this, I would point to XSI's memo cam buttons, which give you 4 little "buttons" that let you middle-click to store a camera pos/rot, and right-click to clear. It's damn useful!
And hey! I just upgraded from my old GTS 250 to a brand new GTX 470 and it is rocking my world. 7x speed increase over the 250...
Now if only I had 100 of them...I could really push my plans for world domination...
Memo cam, or Store Camera Position?

I think it's more logical to realize that via another camera node. If you want to keep your camera, you should just copy camera node. If you want to view from selected camera - you should connect corresponding camera node to Mesh Preview RenderTarget in Preview Configuration subnetwork. I thought it already works that way but it doesn't. I hope it will be fixed in next releases.
when using an exporter /plugin, if you start octane with the host's camera expoted,
and you reset the camera (with the little button above the render viewport to reset the camera view),
it will reset itself to the view that came from your 3d host app.
