Hi all.
Just thought I'd post these images today. One of them is new...The other is from the same project but already posted in the forum on backlit pushbuttons. The cockpit was intended to follow the production style from 2001: A Space Odyssey, though loosely. The cockpit still does not have an ejection seat, though it would have covered up the majority of the interior anyway, which is what I wanted to show off.
The only thing I do not like about the cockpit image right now is that it is almost impossible to find really hires HDR sky images with the lighting you want AND in a true 360 degree format AND shot at altitude. This HDRI sky I had to use was not a true seamless dome in that respect and so it "puckers" at the far left...So I cloned a lot of those converging details out.
The only way I can think of to get great seamless domes at altitude is to create them in Terragen in cross format and then convert to lat/lon format in HDR Shop or similar.
