Hi,
I'm trying to fix the texture of this building model but I can't solve the problem.
Map type in C4D was cubical, but if I try to map with UVW the proble still remain.

Someone can help me?
tank you.

Cheers

Could you copy the building into a new scene file and either post it here or send it to me? I need the C4D file to understand what's going on. If you want to send it to me directly, you need my email address, which I can't send to you as I can't send you a PM for some reason. I.e. I would need a PM first with your email address, so that I can send you my email address...

Cheers,
Marcus

Thanks. Unfortunately I need the C4D file as I think that this is an export problem. Could you please attach that one?

Thanks,
Marcus

Hi Reddog,

I had a look at your scene and can't reproduce the problem here. Neither on a Mac nor on the PC. The OBJ/OCS archive renders incorrect, too, but when I try to export your C4D scene, everything is correct:

If you try to export the scene in wall.c4d.zip yourself, does it work? If not, what happens, if you replace the VRay material with a a standard C4D material?

Sorry, but I have no idea what's going on here.

Cheers,
Marcus

Hi Marcus.
I'm also on Mac.
I've change the material from vray type to cinema native type and now exporter work fine.

Very good.
Tanks.

Hmm, that's really strange. Somehow VRAYforC4D seems to modify the mapping to UVW coordinates then. Is it using it's own texture tag?

Probably nothing I can do here as I don't have VRAYforC4D to understand what's going on.

Sorry,
Marcus
