I want to get away from the Windows environment altogether as stated in previous posts, I've had a play with Blender & don't like it, my works looking at going the Linux way also and are speaking about getting Maya. I've had a read of the latest Maya plugin but that looks like it's only for Windows, is there a Maya plugin for Maya which works with the stand alone Linux version of Octane?
Many thanks in advance
Keeping It Linux with Maya

Hi Chae,
The official integrated plugin does not have a build for linux.
But i believe the unofficial exporter plugin does work for linux.
Give it a try - as as far as i know it will work with the standalone demo so you can confirm it will function for you in linux.
