I have just installed the demo version, but I can't find the SketchUp exporter script (is that how this is done?)

Is that available for the demo version? I do need that in order to try out the software, as my modeling will be done in SketchUp.

Thanks.

hi jteselle, welcome to the forums. the purpose of the demo is to find out if Octane works on your system's current setup. You can import only obj files into Octane so you can try exporting a simple scene from SketchUpPro to an Obj file and then try that with the Octane demo. If you are using the basic SketchUp, Blender can be used as an intermediate exporter using Blender's wavefront facility (.dae to .obj). The free export scripts are created by licensed community members and these currently reside in a restricted licensed members area.
