I have recently switched my camera in octane to Linear/Off, just so my colors come out more accurate, but I'm wondering if I am thinking about this wrong and if my images are worse off if I am not selecting a camera.

Does anyone have a camera they prefer to use?
Intel quad core i5 @ 4.0 ghz | 8 gigs of Ram | Geforce GTX 470 - 1.25 gigs of Ram
