Hi, I often need a "Cloud" procedural texture for Bump on metal plates for example, or even on floors. The closest procedural texture available in Octane seems to be "Turbulence", but gives some sharp edges, like a Voronoi texture.
This is not natural for most effects. Applying bump texture by using UV textures is very memory consuming for bump on large surfaces. So, a procedural "Cloud" texture like the one available in Blender would be really useful.
On a model I am currently working on, I have to apply the subsurf modifier and use a read displacement for Bump in order to avoid the use of a Bump texture in Octane. It is more complicated and requires also Vertex groups to avoid real displacements in some unwanted areas, a thing that would not be necessary with Texture Bump, that doesn't actually deform the geometry of objects.
