Retaining material settings but updating .obj file?

I love Octane! It's become my defacto design review tool from Sketchup. The only thing is, when I update my model I want to keep the materials i've tweaked in Octane. Is this possible?

Sure, at the end of your material editor there's update mesh option. It's also mentioned in manual ;- )
