For my production works.....the list and the suggests that i really need to work and spend few time.

- import camera and coord ...maybe the lens and the aperture if possible.

- Instances .......like a proxy....only the possibility to export the instances from 3d app to octane (example for random objects or duplicate in line or others manipulating instances in our 3d app)

- compositing solutions...z-depht....ID material - object.....and AO.

This is my wish list

The viewport:

- Possibility to switch the all material in to an ovverride material

- pic the material also in pause-mode (now is only possible if the render is in play-mode)

- sub surface scattering mat....like 2sided vray material or fast SSS vray....but is only a material that fake this effect to not have long time of rendering

Hi, camera import is nearly done.
instances will be available in the beta next month.
compositing outputs too.

i'm going to add clay render modes next week (already got the UI icon )

SSS will be a v2.0 feature.

Maybe also a Clay render where you see the polygons ?
Like the Cinema 4D cellulo shader



You can change the wire color and the wire is anti-aliased that's nice

So maybe only a wire shader could replace openGL ?
It will be much slower than openGL but that's better than nothing

I would put on priority list, advanced material editor.

Nice wishlist, but the most important is a basic robust CORE of Octane.
Everything else could be injected after Release1.0....

my wish list is command line options. That would help to script batch processing a lot.
