Hello Everyone,
Just discovered Octane yesterday. I installed the lated versions of Cudatool Kit & Devdrivers (4.2.9). But Octane wont start. In the page it references an older version of Cuda 4.0.
Could this the reason Cuda is crashing on start?
System specs
OSX 10.7.4
Display card ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB
GPU card NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 - CUDA Driver Version: 4.2.9 - GPU Driver Version: 7.18.18 270.05.25f01
Kind regards,
Jeffrey

Most mac users only get Octane working when using the CUDA 4.0 driver and toolkit.
The GT120 isn't a powerful GPU. Octane will work, but you will be restricted to rendering simple scenes. If you decide to use Octane you should get a more powerful NVIDIA GPU.
