I dont see it as an alternative to octane, i ment feature based, can we...will we....? see rich features like this in our beloved software...

Once everything with refractive and otoy has been cleared up, we will see everything that was in the video in octane.

I wish you were right, but this is just wishful thinking.

Even if Otoy had in mind a future like this for Octane (of their plans we don't know anything about), it's not a coincidence that this Clarissa chick runs entirely on the CPU.

And even if it would be possible to implement all that on GPU and they would be planning such development, pick one:

* not for 100 or 200 bucks
* not in this decade
