Hi!

I'm very interested in OR, in fact I just bought a GTX470 for it  . I just saw the temporary discount, if I remember correctly the previous price for the beta was 99E and it costed 99E to upgrade to the full version when it's out, right?

Now it's 49E, but does the upgrade to full version is still 99E or is it 49E too for the users that buy the beta right now?

I hope to get an answer before time runs out, thanks!

Hi!
good news: you're wrong afaik.... 99€ was (and will be after june 4th) for a FULL 1.x license during beta dev, now with the sale you get a full license for only 49€ (along with 1.0 final and all 1.x upgrades). we will be asked to pay again when 2.0 is out (upgrade price I think). cool isn't it 8-)

cheers,
A

Hi,

No, no. If you enroll into the beta program right now (49€ until june 4th) you get the final 1.0 and all 1.x version without any additionnal fee. When v2.0 is out you will be charged a (reduced) price for upgrading.

edit: oups SurfingAlien has been faster than me :D

Ohhh darn! I thought the 49E (or 99E tomorrow) was just for the BETA, and when the full version came out I had to pay again... but so that would only be the case until version 2.0 then  !

Then I just need to see if some features I need are there ¬¬!

thanks!

The influx of license purchases have swamped the boys the last week or so. They're working on automating the service, but its just not there yet. It should come soon just be patient. Their based in Europe, so they're probably sleeping at the moment.
