it would be great if-octane layers made by motiva colimo
render to 20 options are not the most pleasant, and render to every 12-15 hours

This feature would be interesting =) though i would prefere MaxwellRender's path, where they intgrate the solution into program, allowing to animate those lights & export movie afterwards =) so you render an image & then could make a light study =)

This looks very interesting and useful. If Octane would be able to render the passes that are needed by Colimo then I suppose it could be used (even) in a standalone workflow.

excellent
fryrender has a similar thing..
well, someone did ask for this before - and it would be an excellent and advanced feature, and would add to the whole realtime render feature a lot, making it actually realtime (for single shots at least)
But, you know they have to finish and polish the kernel first in order to put advanced stuff like this.. I guess the problem is probably because of gpgpu computing is not flexible enough, so this should be done on cpu, if the textures can be tracked in memory - you know switching from gpu to cpu takes time to load..
I really hope the new team they are assembling are going to speed up their programming workflow.. they probably need to assemble a small team just to do the postprocessing like this..
