I cant post this in the gallery section because this isn't octane made :).

We made a short film and released our film 'Blik' about 8 months ago.
Blik is about a young boy who moves to a new neighbourhood and falls in love for the first time, with the much older girl next door.

The challenge was telling this short story without the use of faces, using only body language to convey often subtle emotions. We developed a unique style to communicate animation and posture as clearly and beautifully as possible.

I am curious what you guys think of our short. I know most people here are about realistic shading and rendering here, but maybe you enjoy this too =).

You can find our film at : https://vimeo.com/25475500

Also we just released our showreel (with some octane rendering in it as well :)).

Thanks guys, i am glad you like it.
We finished an other short but that one isn't online jet (because of festival exclusivity).
Probably in a couple of weeks we will release it online.
It is with lip sync and faces =p, but the lip sync is in Dutch (because it was made for Dutch movie theater) so I don't think you will understand ;).

Riviting!
This is the kind of animation dreams are made of.
The ability to portrey emotion thru body movement and gestures is great. It harkens back to the masters in the days of "silent film". I love it.

A job well done and thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
