Hi everyone,
This is my first image using Octane. All I can say is that I am speechless!!!
I will keep working on it, painting UV maps and refining materials, but for the moment, after only 4 hours of playing with the program the results are amazing IMHO (the orange bench is a test). I intend to make it a BW image, so I desaturated it in post.
C&C are welcomed

The photo I am using as reference is even darker, remember it's taken against a very bright window.
And yes, it's a funny building, basically a cube with a low window and a door, it's a tatami room.

That's a great shot, actually I think that Tadao is one of the great architects whose work is really suited to be used for 3d, his volumes are "simple" but quite strong, the use of the textures like concrete and wood, and the light, always the light create interesting spaces ready for nice shot.
And I agree, the original picture is darker, and it's suppoused to be about the contrast between a dark and calm space and a small reflected point of light.
