Well I doubt Octane can get a proper review....
...
... Nobody whose ever tried it can do an "unbiased" review of Octane, we all fall in love with it, hence no proper review...
Next time do a crappy renderer, and hire a reported to do a "biased" review of it.....

Sorry it's one of those days, no medication and all that...

one of the issues is that we are in beta.
a lot of people don't want to review beta software.

I'll bet my ass (I'll aks my wife first just to be sure) that they'll be eager to publish it, and sure that if your mate that did the model does one along for the first part it would be an awesome making off!!!!

you do know I was kidding, right? I mean, I have a weird and off putting sense of humor, or so they tell me, but I do think that Octane deserves more than a few share of reviews, it is awesome and really user friendly, and on top of that it's production value is great, really easy to integrate in any workflow even more considering is just a beta. I'm sure that as soon as you hit release time you'll get lots of publicity. Right now I'm showing it to all my profesional mates and friends, and they all seem pretty impresed, and sure enough that happens with all the other clients of octane.

I found the article a little lacking too. I imagine when Octane becomes a little more further along we will start seeing more attention. I am sure we will get some attention at Siggraph as well.

Octane got a bright future. Once commercial release comes out, it will be the buzz word of the CG world. Of course, we are still technically limited by the amout of RAM that's available on the GPU, but I can see it will only get better from here. Can't wait until Octane can do multi-pass render and be completely intergraded into the film industry. I bet that's when Radiance will be printing money. Oh, can't stop drooling just imagining it.

Well the new Quadro's and Tesla's will come packed with vRam, so the bigger budget guys will be able to do insanely huge scenes. The future is extremely bright. I can't wait to see what kind of response we get at Siggraph.

Take a mop along with you guys to Sisgraph, there might be a lot of drool in front of your stand, and you don't want people sliping over...
