For an contest in an german forum (http://www.psd-tutorials.de/) i make this living room. Modelling in cinema 4d, rendering in Octane. ;)

the modelling is an work in progress, the textures and the lightning to. I must make more decoration. An tv, an heater, some books, some vegetation.
I hope, you like it.

what's so strange about the glass vase on the left, it does'nt look right at all ?
are you using pathtracing, are you using opacity or something on it ?

Yes, i use pathtracing. The vase is not on the final position. Also. The color of the vase is not final too. In the material of the vase is no opacitiy. In further versions of the living room, the vase will be removed, on an other postion or an other color like withe or blue.

Can I suggest a bump map to break up the glossy reflections in the floor. It's way too smooth as it is.

Yes, an bumpmap in the material of the floor will come in further versions.
