Hi MagnusL3D.

The picture looks very good. You was trying render this same picture with older video cart? How lesser noise produce GTX 480?
What kind of ventilating system you uses?

Thanks

I have not tried render this on another card so I have no comparison I am sorry.

I have no special ventilating system, I have a 480GTX with the standard cooling that came in the box, put in a P180 case.

Here is a large render of the microscope:

It took 20minutes to render.

Very nice, and material turns quite good as well, congrats..
20 minutes, hmm, it's seem quite high for a scene simple as that.

Thanks Andrian,

It could probably have been stopped before 20min, but basically the little glass lense is what have noise the longest, the brass/copper material is noise free very fast.
