Hi guys,
This is more an accident than a real WIP. I was playing around with a floor plan model I got in Octane, and while orbiting and tweaking its settings I ran into this view and I kinda liked it ;) :

So not only is Octane a great renderer but a source of inspiration that makes you want to explore and go deeper into your models, extending your possibilities of a good shot :D

back to the floor plan, lol!

Thanks Radiance :D
It came out from this scene:

And indeed a WASD camera would be very interesting. Also, and BTW, is an orthographic camera planned? Or better said, since Octane doesn't import cameras that you set up in your modeling application (so far); is importing camera info planned somehow? It would be great if your camera could be exported along with the obj file (or other format) so you can have the final shot planned from you DCC package ;)

regards,
Alvaro

You're right pixie, I had forgotten that Octane is like having a real camera in your hands! :D Hence all its power and exploration possibilities. (I'm correcting my lines above).
But I guess you guys get my Idea about setting a camera view in your 3d package and having it show up the same in Octane ;)

wont you get a orthograpic camera by setting the FOV very low?

Nice image between.

Cheers.
