A product packaging concept render.

Work in progress, still designing a label for the box.
At first I made the CD texture as a placeholder, I have since found that I like it's simplicity, might keep it, might change it... who knows.

is simple for now but him sure is will be cool at the finish :)

I think it looks realy nice being this simple.
Seams more professional i think, altough i hope to dvd cover will get some more "detail" ;)

Having let the scene cook while I went out for a BBQ I got back to realise that everything is floating...

Found to go fix that, and get back to work on some texturing..

One thing that I like about this scene is that I could scan a DVD cover and DVD, apply them as textures and get a nice product shot, pretty much instantly. I can imagine that scripted texture loading could be used to make product previews based on templates ;)

Did you consider to make logo larger and place it in the center of dvd?

I did consider putting the logo in the middle of the CD, but it left little room for any text or titles, though now that I am writing this, I have realised that I could put the title curving round the disk...
