What and when is the best way to change te render resolution? When I change the resolution Octane crashes very time.

due to bugs in cuda that we're trying to find workarounds for, on some systems there are indeed stability problems changing resolutions.
to avoid this, save your scene to an OCS file via the file menu,
quit octane, restart it, load the OCS, change the resolution and then click on the meshnode to start the engine.
this is %100 stable.
if not, you need to apply the watchdog timeout registry fix for cuda, which is in the resources forum 'about octane crashing at high resolutions with pathtracing...' topic ontop/sticky.
