Here are the screen shots I promised... as far as I can see all the files are in the correct spot. You will notice there is a Carbon Scatter Plugin that shows up in the utilities tab and in the menu at the top and it is in the same location as the octane plugin...

Yet when I try and choose the octane renderer it is not available.

Any ideas or other things to trouble shoot?

Thanks

Have you read manual?
You have to select Octane as render first.

Um... Duh!! Yeah!!

It does not show up anywhere to select!!!! Or I sure would. When I click on the place it supposed to be... its not there.... ONLY Default Scanline Renderer.

My request may be frustrating to you given the many other more complex things you are trying to solve... but I can't even create a complicated one thats more worthy :?

OK... I did read the manual... it says... "go to the Render Setup Menu and under the RENDERER TAB choose Octane3ds Max"

But its on the COMMON TAB and it was at the bottom and my window was not fully open. I got it now... It is hard to see in the picture that it is the Common Tab if you are first time ever 3ds max user.. :D . And that is me

Thanks for the help
