i like it, but you need to make your images brighter, less 'yellow' and use more glossyness and glossy materials to make it look more like actual plastic...

And crank the mesh details, you can see its low poly. also chamfer edges on everything.

Hey man check If You are really using HDR map file becouse im looking at your renders and it looks like all your images are LDRI :)

can You tell me how much is the weight of this particular HDRI map?? I bet You got it in kilobytes :)

hmmm, well for my HDR maps i just use photos i have taken with my camera.
And scale/move them in to the position of the camera view. :)

dont do it :) check here for maps, and see the difference.

You can make Your own HDRI but first get familiar with this .

well you can get fine images with LDR as long as its just drop plates and not used as light source.
Im not a big fan of seeing hdr images in the distance,but its easy to settle with.

Exactly, and a good training is to use the sunlight + a cylinder mapped with a background plate
And then try to match the lighting on both using your eyes ;)

Don't be afraid of over-exposing your pictures slightly, sometimes it helps
And play with the various camera curves, some are very creative

The model is fine, its low-poly but with good lighting you can turn low-poly into awesome images :D

I just downloaded two maps.
I will use them on my next render that i will do tomorrow.
I have one more render i have to post.

Yes You can do that, but You still getting dull colors from it. ( I prefer some constant material , but thats just me ;) )
