Hi,
I'd like to use shortcut keys to create nodes in the graph editor and upon creation of the node to have the node already connected to another.
example:
If I load an OBJ, I'd like to click on the material input triangles (would be nice if the names were printed better...mouse over the triangle to find out the name is too slow).
after I select that input, i can press a key to quickly create a Diffuse, Glossy or Specular material connected to it.
Request: Shortcut Keys for nodes + node input selections

Hi,
there are still quite a few bugs in the nodegraph editor that we need to fix first,
once it's %100 stable i can add stuff like this. i've already thought of something along those lines, also being able to add a node in the middle of an existing connection etc...

Another shortcut coming from NUKE is "R"
You press "R" (it means read) in the nodegraph
And you select what you want, and it load it
It could be a texture, an object, etc.. anything you want

all right cool, we will come back to this later then
oh forgot to mention that maybe radial menus + custom menus or something might be fun for later editions.
