Please contact me by PM if you wish me look into deeper. I'll need some scenes and more information.marshalartist wrote:I did explain that without the texture managers that the scenes open instantly, but with the managers docked they take forever or crash. We only have C4D octane scenes not standard C4D scenes, I don't see how this is relevant though, it all worked fine in R4.01. Thank you for looking into this though, it is not much of a hindrance now we know what it is.

I just installed C4D R21 today and downloaded the latest stable version of Octane just now but I don't see an r21 lib file when I extract the archive. Please advise, as I need to get it up and running asap. Thanks!aoktar wrote:Have you deleted other versions of plugin dlls? Just hangs at 5% CPU usage in the task manager and never opens. Was hoping this would fix endless crashes on 4.04. Guess not.

Just tried the new version with R21, all seems to be working great. The Octane Texture Manager still causes C4D to stall if it is docked in the interface and it is accessing a large directory of texture files. It's great to be able to use R21 straight away without having to wait for Octane compatibility, thanks for that
