then i can control the distribution with the min and max slider. But this works only when i scatter only 1 single object. as soon as i scatter more than 1 objects this workflow dont work. because this sliders also influence which objects are used for scattering or not.
for example if i have 3 objects in scatterobject and the minslider is on 0.5, the first ibject is not used for scatter.

its more clear if you just use a gradient instead of noise

is this intended?
can you say anything about this oktar?
bug? feature? can it be fixed?

Thanks for the much update needed ! It works faster and seem more optimized(GTX880M GPU). However not sure why the render pass tab was changed.

I'm not on since a few releases. We may need some revisions or not that's only thing which can be said. Scatter object has a few problems and weaknesses. They're about distribution algorithms, rotate/position parameters. It's like a spare time project in plugin.

It's to make things are less complicated and avoid confusions like having two controls for one output.

It does make sense, it really improved in terms rendering and live view(especially specular materials).

maybe something like a simple bugtracker would make more sense instead posting all issues in a big thread.

I think it's ok to post any bugs or questions in related release topic. I feel more comfortable with this system. Otherwise i loose my attention.

Hi,

Seems like hair doesnt work with the picture viewer. Works in 2.24.1

Is there a new workflow with this release or?

Try to remove hair effect. I'm going to check anyway.

Hi, Aoktar. Is Material import from Standalone broken ?
Just made lava material in Standalone and in Cinema it's totally wrong .
