Octane For Cinema 4D developer / 3d generalist

This is not very important but it would be nice if there was an error message or something similar (instead of software crash) if LV is initiated while a hyperNURBS is present in the scene.

Hi - this may be an obvious question but I can't find the answer..
I've transferred my octane licence to a new PC and reinstalled everything on it, using 2.15 Standalone with 2.14 C4D version.
My C4D install is frequently not starting up saying it's missing VCOMP110.DLL. I've copied this file into many different locations (c4doctane folder, plugin folder, application folder, application preferences folder) and even tried adding environment paths to windows, all to no avail.
Any ideas why this is happening? It was working perfectly on my other PC.

Is it C4D R16? Then you maybe only copied all files instead of installing it? In this case, your new PC lacks of the Visual C Redistributables. You may localize them 4 files "vcredist_x64..." on the C4D DVD. Install all 4 2005, 2010, 2012 and 2013.grain wrote:Hi - this may be an obvious question but I can't find the answer..

I don't know whether to blame Octane, but after installing version 2.14 for C4d on OSX often in the View Port enables me to all views (perspective, top, right, front).
This happens by accident when I was doing something with the Octane settings or Arrtibutes.
Sorry if the problem has already been discussed.
