I believe Juanjo did acknowledge this request stating it's quite involved and would work on this as a personal (commercial) project. That's a nice feature! So can you come back to an area that has already been locally refined and Octane can carry on from where it was?

Best thing about this (if I understand it right) is you can render a whole image and then refine an area that still has some noise. Very helfpful.

Very usefull indeed. Modo got something similar but only in the preview window. It allows you by moving the mouse over an area to focus all the CPU power right there.
