I have a working preview version at my hands. Are you asking for final release or a preview/test release?Cheiser wrote:Sorry for offtopic, but any news about Octane 4.0 for C4D coming this year?

I am a little bit confused:
Does C4D-Octane 3.08 fully support C4D-R15?
There is a R15 Plugin-File.
But in the readme.txt is write:

Ex. if you have Cinema4D R18.0, keep only "c4dOctane-r18.cdl64" and delete c4dOctane-r17.cdl64, c4dOctane-r16.cdl64, c4dOctane-r15.cdl64, etc..
Cinema 4D Release 13: c4dOctane-r13.cdl64
Cinema 4D Release 14: c4dOctane-r14.cdl64
Cinema 4D Release 15: c4dOctane-r15.cdl64 or c4doctane_R15_demo.dylib

It means that min. version for R16 not R15. R15 will work fine, don't remember the minimal build for R15.

Hi Ahmet, I'm not sure if you've had a chance to look into this, but I've continued to investigate this issue here, and I've found that it's not related to HDRLS, as the same thing happens if you create an HDR manually in Photoshop. It seems the image is somehow getting cached since it comes back improperly even after loading a different image.niestudio wrote:Hi Ahmet,
I've run into an issue on 3.08 stable with HDR Light Studio.
The plugin is saving to a temp directory while working, and that is loading just fine in the live viewer, however after rendering out the full res HDR from HDRLS it saves to disk, but it does not load into the live viewer even when reloading via the button.
Behavior in 3.07 was that the high-res did not load automatically, but worked just fine when manually clicking the reload button.
screen recording here: Thanks!
I did try reloading the scene in the LV (not in the screen record), but that doesn't work either. The only thing I can get to work is to re-launch c4d

It's worst idea which i heard. There's a lot of differences between two versions. When did you downloaded plugin? There was an update to files after a few days from the day i released.JackMcRip wrote:I copy the res/describtion folder from 3.07 RC2 to installed 3.08

I reported it twice as I got no reply the first time. That's a classless and extremely unprofessional reply.aoktar wrote:Thanks! It has been reported many times. I'll fix that if happens on me.Iceman9 wrote:aoktar, I'm really enjoying the latest version but I'm still occasionally getting that unwanted behavior where Octane is switching the render kernel to "info-channels". It's happened now a few dozen times.
You are repeatedly deficient with your customer support and ability to communicate with your customers.
This bug has cost me a lot of time...it is new to the final 3.08 release. There is no way in hell this is user error. I very rarely use info-channels. This has occurred dozens of times. Something in your code is amiss. That I can understand. It happens. I'm not upset w/bugs as I know they happen.
But your attitude towards customers isn't something I understand. And I see it in how you treat others here all too often.
The main reason I don't leave for Redshift is habit and loyalty. Your attitude makes me wonder if I should re-think that.
