This is a fantastic update! Thanks so much aoktar + otoy team!
Installed it last night, the increase in speed is definitely noticeable, and the introduction of passes is incredible.
Seems to work well, my only issue I came across is that a mix material that used the turbulence / dirt technique no longer worked. I'm talking about the method in this tutorial: https://vimeo.com/100085092
Great release! Looking forward to the non-test release.
thanks again

Thanks to all team of Otoy
Otoy guys made the magic. Regarding the speed, LOW priority makes big speed LOSS. Just a info

Best regards

Hi,
i couldnt test the 2.1 yet. But noticed a reversed behavior for Hdri gamma value on previous version. for darker shadows i always set it around 0.7 but result gets brighter weirdly while it should gets darker.
I know it is not critical but would like to hear a few words to understand how it works. I had asked it in an other post too before but couldnt get any answer.

i haven't checked this gamma behaviour. It's a thing on Octane side, not plugin related

I don't wanna open a new thread on this and it kinda fits to your mention. Its not 2.10 related, but altough LOW priority is checked, my whole system really slows down when rendering. Navigating the viewport is more or less not possible. is this normal? The mouse gets really laggy and a app change takes pretty long. i'll have to try if changing the priority to high makes any difference in speed and usage but i'm afraid i can't use my PC at all while rendering.

Hm. not a really heavy scene, no. Yes, i've one GPU. I guess using the GPU effects the overall performance more then using the CPU. I just wanted to know if it is normal.

HAIR ISSUE.jpg
I have same hair issue as mate mentioned.

I attached the project file and the img.

FYI, I've used various versions of plugin and program(from 2.0 to latest one). And also tried in other computers. But it still happened.

Please check this issue and let me know if you have any other solution about it.

This is not plugin related. But what happens on other scenes? Complexity, kernels, settings can affect gpu usage. But i'm very happy with two different gpu. Never see this kind of problems.
