I would like everything on Robsteady's list - also one tiny little addition would be how about when i select to auto convert materials it also automatically switches the render engine to octane. The region render (+ other versions of that, such as selectively rendering only objects that you choose while retaining the existing pre-rendered image) is massively important. really really need that

accessing renderer parameters from maxscript also would be nice.

loading a background image in octane viewport.!!!
Windows 7 64bit/ Intel 3930K/ ASUS Rampage IV/ GTX980ti x 2/ 64GB system RAM

wear image in the viewport octanerender the background is ok in the left side but when i do click ro reload viewport is wear the image in the right side

i cannot créate bakcground without color, if i sabe format in png the image dosen't appear with backgroud all is White
please, help me karba, i don't understand why happen this

Do you use a plane for background?
try to increase ray epsilon.

Plaese. Multi sub materials don´t work when xrefed. I relly need this. is it going to be fixed? or can it be?

yes karba i use plane to background and bend to curve it, if i put more value is more the distortion, why happen this ?
