@Oguzbir : About the white balance, it looks more like a color grading than a white balance, as the color picker seems to not be usable in the render window.

I don't understand why the red increases when you reduce the red value... same for other colors. It seems to work the opposite than logic !
It is quite easy to use. If you see your image has mostly blue color, just set blue color to white balance.
I understand how it works. I am used to this feature on my digital camera and camcorder, as well as in other softwares, but in Octane, it looks like it is only an approximated eyeballed process.

To be really usable as a white balance feature, the color picker should be usable in the render window, allowing to point at a supposed white surface.

Currently, for an accurate work, it is necessary to open the rendered image in an image editor, read the color under the color picker, and type the RGB values in Octane white balance fields, one by one. The same would be got faster directly in the image editor. As the purpose of this setting is a gain of time and simplification of the workflow, it loses interest imho if it is necessary to open a video editor to read the values to apply as correction.

At least, we should be able to read the RGB values under the cursor in the render window.

Did I miss something ? Is this feature already here ?

at the end, it wasn't the roughness or the normal map, but the gamma of the hdri in the environment set to 2.0 for a more dramatic effect.
bring it down to 1.6 has solved the flickering ;)

Agreed. Its nice to have this white balance capability it just needs to be made a little more practical to use.
