works for me (using 4.05)
need to route the tex through a baking-node + set the "power"-value in your imagetex-node down to 0.0001, though.

so is this the "standard- way" with a bake-texture-node to handle native 32bit-TIFFs as displacementmaps?

Meet again in latest 2019.1-RC3_r2 very noisy Shadow Pass while using Render Laryer feature
Here is example 3000 samples:

And still no alpha using Affect alpha in specular material. Dear, Aoktar, writing about alpha the third time and still have no answer from you

You may see how much versions and answers I'm handling same time. It's a bug in sdk.

Really only one person working on Cinema plugin and customers communication ? This is very time consuming and generate slowly progress.

I just want to remind you that the serious problem with motion blur is still not resolved. I have already spoken about this 4 times.
