well I was looking at a sunset rendering with the new daylight model and I rotated the north point as my last fiddle... will be sure to let you know if I reproduce it... ;)

There is a strong demand to add point ligint,spot light!!!

I guess They can work faster 10x at least than Octane`s real light!!!!

Remember, Octane is a path tracer and point lights don't work or don't work correctly in a path tracer. And the problem of light sampling is not going away. I.e. you wouldn't get any speedups.

Thanks for the heads up. The Linux build should have the same problem. We will fix it tomorrow - should be simple. Sorry about that.

Please continue to develop for the 2xx series, even if you some features don't work, so we can enjoy bug fixes and don't have to load multiple versions on our systems.

great update !
voxelization is very fast, but drop of performance on render on my 2x580GTX (on benchmark ex : 8.24 --> 7.90) test also on my other scene 8.10 --> 7.50). I know that it's a test release !
But I've read that for 6xx GTX, there's and performance increase !
I think that Titan (6xx archi) will also benefit from that !? (I'm waiting mine next week :P )
