I would appreciate that very much, as it gives you good control over your colors.
Yes, it was somewhat good informational feature.
I didn't find it useful for anything, LV need to be minimal as possible!!So this feature is totally unnecessary

However, this seems to have replaced the gizmo where you could zoom in on an area and get a color value read-out.
Is that gone for good now or has that moved to another shortcut?
Thanks
I've completely removed this feature. I may bring back with a different way if you used to it and wish back.
+1, I've found it to be quite important for color critical work. Like, very important :) Now I need to copy & paste the image into PS / Affinity to check the values. We also don't have a "copy" button in LV that is quite a few more steps to be honest :\

I would like to point out that I do like the new functionality that you've implemented. The thing is, I think the best thing would be to keep both in.

Hi,
I discover "erratic" behavior with node editor.
I created a material A and a material B.
When I delete material B some nodes of material A also disappear.
I have probably copied some node arrangements from material B to material A or converted material B to sub material to material A ...
But it's a bit of a hassle and I have to check everything all the time.
and the node trees seem to be interconnected under the hood?
Because a simple removal of unused material can lead to a non-correct re-wiring of several materials used in the scene

Windows10
Cinema4 r21
Octane 2020.1.5

thanks

Silly question, but since i started c4d with octane and i never used any other engine:
When i make a render preset, "Multipass" should be on or off or it doesnt matter?

Thanks :)

Nodes will be deleted if they owned by another material. Connecting the copied nodes to a material that will provide they are owned by this material. Do not expect to use one node that can be used for another materials. Except under a composite material system.

No need to set as "ON" if you don't have to use passes.

Hi I d like to request an override material with exclude/include and pick ur own override like this one here:

https://gumroad.com/l/jvcLu/sale

Its really handy besides the LV options which are great, but sometimes u wanna check complex scenes with other materials and exclude/include as u like.

Thanks
