Ahmet, you were right, the problem was in RTX mode. The crashes stopped when I turned it off. Thank you and jayroth.aoktar wrote:Probably about RTX core. As I said your problems are not about my side. So what can you do?divasoft wrote:My previous results were obtained with version 2020.1. And on the 13th frame and all the frames after it, the octane constantly fails. I updated to the last version and the octane was able to work a little longer. now crash occurs on frame 19. Ahmet, can you say something useful or help something?
You can directly ask to support email for contributing the whole team or send me your scene to me.
But what can I do if it's not happening on me and a core issue? Just pass it to core team and pray for that they can check and reproduce the issue. For my opinions there's some limitations or problems in core for a lot of scattered geometries.

Are crash issues with older CPU's (MacPro 5,1 here) fixed in this version? I remember a few weeks ago in a release a new instruction set was used in the cose which was not supported by those older models. I could not read through all new releases but cannot find any mention of this in this latest release.
Specs: Apple MacBook Pro M1 max 64GB 2TB, MacOS 12.5 / MacPro 5,1 with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8G, MacOS 10.13.6 / Mac Pro 5,1 with AMD RX5700 8G, MacOS 12.3.1 / HP Z600 with NVIDIA 3060 RTX 12G, Windows 10 pro + Netstor GPU box, 4 x NVIDIA GTX 980ti 6G.
hi all,
I just updated my NVIDIA Studio drivers and now Octane gave me an error: 0 days left in my license. But when I check my status on the OTOY site, it should be available until 2021-01-30.
When I send a scene to the Viewer, C4D crashes...
Please advice. Thank you.
I'm running C4D R21.207 on a Win10 Pro PC (dual RTX 2080Ti), Nvidia Studio Driver 451.77, OctaneRender 2020.1.3, c4doctane 2020.1.3-R2.
UPDATE: Octane doesn't crash anymore, but the O days left remain...

Hi,
Nvidia Studio driver 451.77 is working correctly here, and it is not related with license.
Please, go to c4d menu Script/Console or Extensions/Console, (Shift+F10), and share a complete screenshot of the panel, thanks.
ciao Beppe
