last video. This shows me opening an old file which previously did render correctly, and now resimulating. You can see where it renders the old cache files motion blur appears, but dissapears when overwritten with the new cache file.

I just cant seem to diagnose exactly where this is going wrong.

HI darkline,
I made some tests about your issues, using 3dsMax 2014, everything seems to work.
I created new simulation and no pre-cache, MB seems to work as well.
Did you install the latest 3dsMax 2014 SP?

Hi darkline,
You could uninstall nvidia drivers using:
http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/dis ... nload.html
And reinstall the latest drivers.
Do not install Cuda drivers or toolkit.

just done all that and it's made no difference. :-(

Can you do me a favour and download the attached file. I know all phoenix settings will reset because its a demo, but see if you can use the attached file to simulate with the default liquid settings and get motion blur. This will at least determine if something is going wrong with the file. I cannot get motion blur to work at all with this max file.

thanks

Hi darkline,
Octane 3dsMax plugin works well, just having to consider Units of measurement.

Thank Paride,

Then I'm lost, it works sometimes for me, but not others, even when following the same steps each time. Maybe I'll reinstall max2014 completely.

Hi Paride,

how do I apply an octane material to the wetting or wet map in the liquid?
