Is it fast? Oh, yeah!

Sadly, I am not seeing any of the black smoke as seen in the photograph -- I am seeing flame only. I am using Octane 3 Beta 2.1, with Cinema version 17.046 on the configuration listed in my signature. Any ideas?

Be sure that you have density channel simulated and absorption/scattering is set properly. it doesn't appear without using object tag with proper settings.jayroth wrote:Sadly, I am not seeing any of the black smoke as seen in the photograph -- I am seeing flame only. There is no "scale" in medium node ? Just density ? Does it work the same way ? Cant reproduce some materials now .
ryzer 2700x
rtx 2080Ti
rtx 2080Ti
scale -> density. It's same and renamed as standalone has been like that since some version.kacperspala wrote:There is no "scale" in medium node ? Just density ? Does it work the same way ? Cant reproduce some materials now .
Which material you can't do? It should work as old named scale parameter.

Octane 3.0 is glad to be released soon.
Most people will use Houdini to create openVDB.
Houdini 1unit is 1Meter.
C4D Default Unit is Centimeter.
VDB loader default scale is Meters. But Not Match Scale Houdini VDB. Hectometers is Matched Scale.
Particle Rendering - Dropdown Menu
I want to be a little change .
1.None
2.Sphere
3.Object Instances
4.Voxel
Thanks.....
