Also it may be OK to omit the glass alltogether (or make it transparent), since it's behind a curtain the difference will be almost invisible. This will allow all the sunlight to pass through. The noise on the other hand will be much less.

in the meanwhile someone added motion blur to the cuda engine.

now "WE WANT" instances.

Instances will change everything in our Octane render pipeline.

Please Refractive, be the first to implement them...I can wait for the mblur.

definitly instancing (with a max proxy). I'm tured to evaluate with each project if I can manage to include all the vegetation on a project or have to convert to another renderer.

and Karba mentioned he worked on the multiscatter plugin, well I am looking forward to creating beautiful vegetation.. that would be a great step up, multiscatter vegetation with presets grass and instancing inside octane, such as this one http://rendering.ru/ru_en/models/igrass ... -vol1.html
holy mother of grass, give us vegetation! I mean thats what instancing is most useful?

***ISSUE***
Octane for Max lacks the possibility to save in exr or hdr 16-32bit using octane camera.

If I deactivate tonemapping but I use an octane camera the exr or hdr saved file will have 8 bit color depth and will maintain the tonemapping.
Impossible to use this render for professional color correction.

Regards
