Beta 2.2 RC1: SoftImage XSI plugin testing thread
Thats wired, there is nothing in the plugin which affected the geometry export on different Octane versions.

When is this plugin coming out? I thought you guys would beat Random Control with an XSI plugin, because they've been saying an Arion plugin will be "ready soon" for about 4 years. This is turning into the same situation. Please give us an idea when this thing will be done....

We are currently in a closed alpha test.
When this alpha is good enough, we will switch to a open beta test.

Ok, now I see what doesnt work in V1.16 and V1.17.. Its when choosing a "Mesh_to_render" and rendering animations.
I have a scene, and a object called ground.obj, and some particles (.csv files etc). aand I pipe them to a geometry group called assembly. Now I choose assembly as the Mesh_to_render and render a animation, but it only reads the ground.obj not the ground_anim.obj as it does when having the Mesh_to_render in default mode.
/regards Peter

Ok, since 1.15 or 1.16 there is a new parameter called -R which relink a meshnode with a mesh.
I have used the -r parameter which relinks the mesh to render with a mesh.
In your case, you have the mesh to render changed to the assembly group.
With the old -r parameter, i also try to link the assembly group to the ground_anim.obj.
This can´t work.
I have now changed the -r parameter with the -R parameter for render animations.
A scene which has a group named "assembly group" as mesh to render and a ground.obj node which is relinked with the -R parameter to the ground_anim.obj is working here.
