I have now fixed the 64 bit installer link. Sorry for the mistake.

Hi Paul,
Instsalled latest version - 64 bit - I get this in Rhino's command line when I try to set octane render as a main renderer: Unable to make "OctaneRenderForRhino" the current render plug-in.
Also, after installation, when I started Rhino, renderer was set back to default rhino render (since it is unable to load octane), and octane render tab and materials tab are turned off and can't be turned on.
Rhino 5 sr10.
Regards,
Mac

Hi Mac - you are right - the installer have the wrong Octane DLL. I will fix this ASAP.Instsalled latest version - 64 bit - I get this in Rhino's command line when I try to set octane render as a main renderer: Unable to make "OctaneRenderForRhino" the current render plug-in.

I have re-uploaded the 2.14.0.21 release installers - and they now have the correct Octane libraries. If you installed the previous 2.14.0.21 release, you will need to re-tick the OctaneRender tab in the Options gear button on the tab panel. When you do this an error may show - which you can ignore. This is a one-off error.
Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul,
Is there any chance to make the rendered display mode on the viewport match the exact placement of textures in octane?
Just checked for scale it is ok, but no matter what, i always get offsets for placement..

Hi Paul
I noticed that material previews now look different than before ( the reflection is weird) - the previous version looked better imo

How are you scaling and placing the textures in Octane? Can you pls post some screenshots of the Octane material with a scale and then a placement (showing the node layout) and the corresponding Rhino preview image? Is there any chance to make the rendered display mode on the viewport match the exact placement of textures in octane?
It looks like the preview is been generated from the Rhino preview version of the Octane material rather than the Octane material itself (so for example a Checks node is not in the Preview thumbnail). I will report this issue to McNeel - since it looks like a problem with the Rhino SDK.I noticed that material previews now look different than before ( the reflection is weird) - the previous version looked better imo
Thanks
