Hi Paul,
I don't know if this is a problem specific to my system, but I can't seem to toggle "convert transparent to specular" in the setting dialogue. Mouseover text or box highlighting on mouseover doesn't happen either. It's as if the box doesn't exist for my mouse. I can toggle all other boxes except this one.
In any case, thank you for implementing background image capability. Mucho appreciated.

Have you got your windows font set to something larger than 100% by any chance?
I have spaced out the widgets a little more on the Setup screen - which should fix that problem for ppl on 125% font scale. I left the version at 1.20a5. I've only updated the 64 bit version. You can re-download the 64bit installer from the top of this thread.
open Poser
load a figure or prop from the library
open the Octane plugin and the viewport
close the plugin
open a saved Poser scene, do not save the actual scene
open the plugin
Thanks Uwe. This is happening on PP2014, but not PP2012. If you open Poser then open the file, it's fine. But if you open Poser, open the plugin, then open the file it doesn't load the settings. I need to download the latest build of PP2014 to see if it's happening there, and if so, why. Will get back to you.
Having some odd performance issues with this version.
Most people have found the latest versions substantially quicker than 1.13, so your results are odd. The resolution functionality has changed - in that the old version had the resolution set to the viewport size - whereas the new version you can lock the resolution to the resolution slider settings. Maybe you are rendering to a much larger size with the new version? Are you running one card for rendering or multiple? 1.13 didn't have the render priority options - so check that too.

I'm actually using a smaller resolution and getting worse performance. What I did to get the performance to speed up was to set the X resolution to something high, like 4200, and then set it back down to 720 and it was like it became unstuck.
I checked the priority settings and tried using only 1 of my gpus, which resulted in a speed up(didn't matter which one, same result), still a little less than half of what I get with 1.13u.
So 1.13u used both GPUs fine, and the new version is quirky. driver issue? a prop wouldn't cause something like this would it? Like I said the problem didn't present with just the default Andy figure.
